Hello from Assistant Principal Lori BELAND
Hello! I am excited to join the team at Woodstock Elementary School!! I currently live in Hartland, Vermont with my husband, two children, ages 16 and 18, my 3 dogs and 2 cats!!!
Prior to becoming assistant principal, I was a K-8 special educator and behavioral specialist at Ottauquechee Elementary school in Quechee, Vermont. Prior to my work at Ottauquechee, I was a preschool teacher in Hartland and was an avid volunteer as a soccer, softball and basketball coach for grades K-8 at Hartland Elementary and Middle school!
My educational background is in pre-k and elementary education, special education, applied behavioral analyses and minoring in psychology.
I absolutely love spreading humor and joy and often you can find me singing and dancing in the halls! When I am not in school, I love spending time with my family and friends doing anything outside. I also love traveling and finding the best pastries and donuts around:)

Hello from Principal Maggie Mills
Hello! This is my eighth year as principal of Woodstock Elementary School. Prior to becoming principal, I was a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at WES. I have taught in grades 3-7 throughout my career as an educator in New Hampshire, Vermont, and California. Prior to coming to WES, I was Dean of Instruction at a middle school in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My educational background is in elementary education and adolescent risk and prevention with a school counseling focus. In addition to being an educator, I am a mom to two young children.
When I am not at WES or chasing my two littles, I am a runner, hiker, gardener, and backyard chicken wrangler. I feel so fortunate to be in a school and community with so many place-based learning opportunities for our children.
